NikolaTesla is Elica’s first aspirating induction hob equipped with the most advanced technologies with distinctive design, characterized by strong lines and high quality material, combining the functions of two appliances into one single product.It has all the advantages of induction hobs, such as rapid cooking and easy cleaning. However, Elica added specific technologies, like the double bridge function that allows for two adjacent cooking zones to combine, so that large sized pots can be used.The aspirating system, positioned in the central zone, reaches high performance levels, in terms of fume extraction, noise level and energy efficiency (class A+). Thanks to the direct communication with the hob, it is able to receive information from the cooking zones, and automatically calibrates the ideal aspiration level, so that the user only needs to worry about cooking, while at the same time reducing energy consumption.Available in both aspirating and filtering version, the hob was thought up for any type of space, and thanks to a series of accessories, it can meet any installation need. In the filtering version, the high performing  new generation ceramic odor filters are accessible from the top part of the hob, making cleaning and maintenance a cinch. The grease filter grid  and the filter itself, are characterized by exclusive design, with attention to every detail. The aspiration system adjusts automatically to the number and power of the used cooking zones. Bridge Zones: The special Bridge zones can work both individually or combined for a more homogeneous cooking using both baking pans and large pots. Thanks to this technology it is the hob surface that adapts itself to the type of pots being used. Pot Detector: Nickolatesla helps you save money by letting you know when a cooking zone is on but not being used, avoiding wasted energy and automatically turning on a cooking zone when it detects a pot. Revolution Filter: This filter is suitable for the most challenging cooking environments given its superior ability to filter and purify the air. The new Elica Technology is able to achieve filtering thresholds of 82% against the market average of 60%. It can be generated for up to 3 years. Stop & Go: If you are interrupted whilst cooking or you have to go into another room, with just a single movement, pressing the stop and go button, you can switch off all cooking zones with complete confidence and safety.
