Lilja the Label W's Ribbed Bikers - Recycled PA Our ribbed bikers are back in an improved fit! These shorts have a flattering high waistline but without a tight elastic band inside. These shorts stay where they should but don’t dig in or pinch. They feature a double layered fabric for added support and coverage. Combine these shorts with the matching ribbed crop or any of our other items. The fabric used in these shorts is regenerated from plastic waste collected from our oceans and spun into a yarn used to make a like-new fabric from recycled origins. These post-consumer waste plastics are given a new life in form of our activewear through a process that involves breaking down the nylon polymer into monomers, then regenerating the nylon into a new yarn that has qualities similar, if not even better, than virgin yarn. The breakdown process is done with only temperature and steam, without the use of harmful chemical agents, in a renewable energy driven process. Reusing nylon to make ECONYL® reduces the environmental impact of nylon by 80% compared with the material produced from crude oil.  Size & Fit The waist piece in these shorts is a snug fit so if you prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up.
